Headquarters: La maison Beauvais
La maison Beauvais is a French-inspired residence built between 1690 and 1720 along the St. Lawrence River, on a concession of the seigneury of La Prairie de la Magdeleine. This fief, granted to the Jesuits in 1647, is one of the oldest in the region. The first lots were first awarded in 1671, near the seigniorial manor house.
